On 3rd April, a panel session at PMI Pensions Aspects Live 2019 discussed Royal Mail as a CDC (Collective Defined Contribution) case study.
Hilary Salt described how First Actuarial worked creatively to find a solution that met the CWU’s aim of providing an income in retirement with one scheme for all members, while addressing Royal Mail’s financial concerns. Terry Pullinger from the CWU paid tribute to the innovative work of First Actuarial in overcoming the challenges involved.
